Mirwaiz expresses condolences over Iranian President’s demise

Senior APHC leader Miwraiz Umar Farooq has expressed grief and sorrow over the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Amir Abdollahian, regional governor Malik Rahmati, and other associates of the President in a helicopter crash.

According to Kashmir Media Service, in his condolence message, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, who has been placed under house arrest by the authorities since May 03, described the accidental death of President Raisi as an irreparable loss for the Muslim world, particularly for the nation of Iran.

On behalf of himself and the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Mirwaiz assured the Government of Iran and its citizens that they share their grief and sorrow during these trying times. He prayed to Allah Almighty for the forgiveness of the deceased and for patience, courage, and perseverance for the Iranian people.—KMS
