A madrasa teacher beaten to death a student and injured his brother for coming late to the Madrassa.
The police informed that the incident occurred in Madrassa Faizul Quran in Bahawalnagar.
According to a private TV channel, three brothers were studying in Madrassa Faizul Quran.
They celebrated Eid with some extra vacations at their home and then returned to the madrassa. Upon return, the teacher became furious and started torturing them.
He tortured the boys brutally and as a result, 12-year-old Samiullah died on the spot while his 10-year-old brother Razi Allah suffered severe injuries.
Police registered a case against five members of the madrassa administration including the cleric on the complaint of the father of the victim.
He told the police that the seminary teacher subjected his two sons to corporal punishment, as a result of which one of them died.
The police have arrested three suspects after registration of FIR against the teacher and the administration of Madrassa.
The police have shifted the injured boy to the hospital for treatment.
