Minister visits TEVTA Secretariat, briefed on working

Provincial Minister Industries SM Tanveer has said that the certification of students should make as per international standards. He was addressing the media after visiting TEVTA Secretariat. He was accompanied by Secretary Industries Sohail Ashraf and Senior Bureaucrat Irfan Ilahi.

Secretary TEVTA Ahmad Khawar Shahzad briefed Minister about the working of TEVTA. Senior DG Akhtar Abbas Bharwana and other officials were also present on occasion.

Secretary TEVTA Ahmad Khawar Shahzad also suggested that foreign remittances can be earned through international acknowledgement of certification. Secretary Industries ordered to speed up the process.

Minister SM Tanveer further said that we need to work on the solar industry and make arrangements for local manufacturing of solar plates so that we can control the imports. He said that we need to increase the export and decrease imports so the country’s economy will be right on track. He also lauded the team of TEVTA and termed it a professional team.
