Minister resigns to run by-elections campaign


Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader and Punjab Law Minister Malik Ahmad Khan Tuesday also resigned from his ministry. Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz has accepted his resignation.

His resignation came after the resignations of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Khawaja Salman Rafique and Awais Leghari from their respective ministries, reportedly to run the campaign for by-elections on Punjab assembly seats for their party.

According to sources, Malik Ahmad Khan resigned from his position to take part in by-elections campaign.
