RAWALPINDI – Pakistani security forces conducted an Intelligence Based Operation in the Hoshab District of Balochistan, the military’s media wing said Thursday.
A statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations said Security Forces conducted an operation on 24 July 24, and an intense fire exchange occurred between troops and terrorists.
During the gunfire, terrorist Ali Jan was shot dead, while two other terrorists suffered injuries.
ISPR said weapons, ammunition, and explosives were also recovered from dead terrorists, who remained actively involved in multiple terrorist activities in the area including kidnapping and target killing of innocent civilians.
Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area. Security Forces of Pakistan, in step with the Nation, remain determined to thwart attempts to sabotage peace and stability of Balochistan.
