The meeting of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FPCCI) Standing Committee on health care and medical devices and medical devices held at federation house.
President of FPCCI Nassser Hyatt Magoo and Chairman Standing Committee Masood Ahmed jointly presided the meeting.
Most important issues of Health Care and Medical Devices and Diagnostic Industy’s has been discussed.
Participants of meeting demanded of Government to immediately issue the SROs for exemption of Sales Tax and Income Tax on import of Medical Devices used for treatment and diagnostics of Covid19’s patients.
Participants of meeting also demanded of Government for issuance of the SRO for Sales Tax and Income Tax exemption on import of Auto Disposable Syringes.
Participants of meeting have said that Regulation rules for Medical Devices and Diagnostic Industry should be amended for ease of work.
Committee members demanded of Government to resolve the problems of Medical Devices and Diagnostic Industry and delay to resolve the issues should worsen humanitarian crises and resulted hardship in treatment of Corona Patients.
