MBBS annual exams start in Punjab

LAHORE – The annual examinations for MBBS have commenced across Punjab on Wednesday.

The University of Health Sciences (UHS) conducts professional examinations for students from public and private medical colleges in the province.

The exams started with the Second Professional examination.

Following the schedule, the Third Professional exams will begin on December 29, the First Professional on January 12, the Fourth Prof on January 23, and the Final Professional on February 2.

These theory exams of MBBS will run until March 1, 2024, as per the UHS spokesperson.

More than five thousand candidates from 45 government and private medical colleges are participating in each professional exam.

In Lahore alone, nearly 2600 candidates will take the exams. Examination centres have been established in 14 cities, where around 700 supervisors and invigilators perform their duties.

UHS is also conducting the examinations for medical colleges in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, with exam centres in Mirpur and Rawalakot.

The BDS annual professional exams for dental colleges will take place from January 5 to March 11.
