Today is a happy day for us as by taking another important step to improve the drainage system of the city, 38 jetting and suction machines have been handed over to the Water Corporation with the joint cooperation of Sindh Government, World Bank and Karachi Water Sewerage Services Improvement.
The drainage system in the city will be greatly improved with the induction of these machines. In view of the ever-increasing population of the city, solving the problems of water supply and drainage is included in our manifesto, while all resources are being utilized for the further improvement of the city.
Insha Allah, everyone will see a clear difference in the coming time, he expressed these views in M.D Secretariat Karsaz while speaking in the ceremony to handover, 40 jetting and suction machines manufactured at a cost of 90 Crore 10 Lakhs (901 million), to the CEO of the Water Corporation Engineer Salahuddin under joint cooperation of Sindh Government, World Bank and Karachi Water Sewerage Services Improvement.
In the ceremony the Mayor handed over keys of jetting and suction machines to the CEO Water Corporation who thanked the Mayor Karachi, according to the spokesperson of the Water Corporation, the ceremony was organized by the Water Corporation at the M.D Secretariat Karsaz, the chief guest of the ceremony was the Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab who is also the Chairman of the Water Corporation whereas the Deputy Mayor Salman Abdullah Murad, CEO Water Corporation Engineer Syed Salahuddin Ahmed and COO Water Corporation Engineer Asadullah, PP leader Karamullah Waqasi, Dil Muhammad, Jumman Durwan, Sikandar Baloch, Board Member Zafar Subhani, Advocate Tanzeel Pirzada and top officials of the Water Corporation were also present in the ceremony.
On this occasion, the Mayor Karachi while talking to the media said that with the joint cooperation of Sindh Government, World Bank and Karachi Water Sewerage Services Improvement, 40 jetting and suction machines, costing 901 million rupees (901 million) manufactured by the Water Corporation have been handed over to the Water Corporation today. who has joined the system of water corporation.
He said in the second phase 14 jetting and 14 suction machines, including 10 joint jetting and suction machines and two mobile workshops manufactured by Mairaj factory limited have been added in the Water Corporation system from Saturday.
