the funds of Sewage Treatment Plant TP-III project will be discussed with the caretaker Chief Minister of Sindh, Water Corporation, Consultant and the Contractor agree upon the time frame for completion of the project after disbursement of funds, because Sewage Treatment Plant TP-III project is the need of the city.
These views were expressed by Mayor Karachi and Chairman Water Corporation Barrister Murtaza Wahab while visiting Sewage Treatment Plant TP-III Maripur.On the occasion of the visit, Deputy Mayor Karachi Salman Abdullah Murad, Town Chairman Kemari Humayun Khan, Deputy Parliamentary Leader KMC Dil Muhammad, CEO Water Corporation Engineer Syed Sallahuddin Ahmed, COO Water Corporation Engineer Asadullah Khan, PD S-III Muhammad Hanif Baloch along with Consultants of Sewage Treatment Plant TP-III were also present.According to the spokesman of Water Corporation, the CEO of Water Corporation gave a detailed briefing to Mayor Karachi about the Sewage Treatment Plant TP-III project and told that 54 MGD of water is being treated from Sewage Treatment Plant TP-III, while the capacity of Sewage Treatment Plant TP-III will be increased from 54 MGD to 100 MGD.
He said that work is going on at Sewage Treatment Plant TP-I which will treat 35 MGD of water.CEO Water Corporation requested Mayor Karachi to provide full funds immediately to complete Sewage Treatment Plant TP-III.On this occasion, Mayor Karachi assured the Water Corporation officials that they will discuss with the caretaker Chief Minister of Sindh regarding the funds of Sewage Treatment Plant TP-III project, because Sewage Treatment Plant TP-III project is the need of the city.
