LAHORE – Pakistani religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil received honorary doctorate from Florida-based American International Theism University (AITU), recognising his services in religious preaching, social reform and humanitarian welfare.
Renowned Pakistani religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil has received another major honour, with the American International Theism University (AITU), Florida, awarding him an honorary doctorate in recognition of his contributions to religious preaching, guidance, social reform and humanitarian welfare.
The honorary degree was presented to Tariq Jamil during a special ceremony in Lahore, where AITU Vice Chancellor Dr Ehab Al-Shami formally conferred the award.
The recognition shows Tariq Jamil’s longstanding work in religious outreach and his efforts to promote social improvement, charitable service and the message of goodness. The ceremony was attended by people from different walks of life who gathered to acknowledge his religious and welfare-related contributions.
The Deoband scholar thanked Allah Almighty and said the honour was not simply a personal achievement but a recognition of collective efforts to spread the message of Islam, encourage social reform and promote service to humanity. In a message, he wrote, “Alhamdulillah, I am grateful to Allah Almighty for being awarded an honorary doctorate degree by the American International Theism University, Florida.”
He said the honour represented the combined efforts of those working to spread Islamic teachings, reform society and promote the values of goodness and humanitarian service.
Tariq Jamil also thanked his teachers, colleagues, supporters, admirers and everyone who had remembered him in their prayers.
Concluding his message, the scholar prayed for the strength and sincerity to continue serving the faith and working for the betterment of humanity.
