Maulana Khabir meets Archbishop of Canterbury



Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad Khatib and Imam of Badshah Mosque, Lahore, Chairman of Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Chairman of Interfaith Council for Peace and Harmony, met with Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Portal Welby at Lambeth Palace in London along with a delegation of scholars in which Imam QasimRasheed, Maulana Khalid Hussain, Shoaib Yusuf, prof Muhammad Ali and others were present.

Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad said in his statement that our meeting was held with regard to inter-faith harmony, in which mutual discussions were held regarding world peace and increasing religious harmony and tolerance.
