Maulana Azad, Saudi Ambassador discuss Pak- Saudi relations


Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabeer Azad Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Khateeb and Imam of Badshahi Masjid Lahore and Chairman of Majlis Ulema-e-Pakistan called on Saudi Ambassador Nawaf Bin Said Al-Malki.

Speaking on the occasion Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabeer Azad said Pak-Saudi friendship is higher than the Himalayas. He said that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz and the Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman announcement of large aid is a testimony of the Pak-Saudi relations and love.

The assistance to the flood victims from Qatar, UAE, Turkey and other countries is welcome. Maulana Azad said that Saudi Arabia is our second home.

He said that the protection of the Holy Haram is the responsibility of all of us and is part of our faith, the stability and security of Saudi Arabia, the stability and security of Pakistan. Yes, today we all should create unity among ourselves and come to the world as one Ummah, Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al Maliki said that Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are like one body and we call Pakistan our second home.

Nawaf bin Said al-Malki said that Saudi Arabia is with Pakistan in this difficult time due to the flood situation that Pakistan is going through and Saudi Arabia has given all kind of support to thousands of flood victims.

In the end, Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki praised Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabeer Azad for his services regarding the sighting of the moon and inter-faith and inter-religious harmony and unity.
