Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senior Vice-President and Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa needed her party the most, holding the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) responsible for “deprivation” during its ten-year long rule.
“Those who embezzled 190 million pounds plundered the resources of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistan,” alleged Maryam Nawaz during her interaction with the KPK Coordinators at the party’s secretariat in Model Town in Lahore on Thursday.
The PML-N chief organizer said that in the last ten years, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was turned into a deprived province while corruption and embezzlement continued under the names of the BRT and the Billion Tree Tsunami.
The matters related to the establishment of youth coordinators at the union council level, organizational affairs, and preparations for the upcoming general elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa came under discussion during the meeting.
She pointed out that despite being unable to build 350 dams in ten years, the PTI government managed to complete the “fdam fool” step by step, and in the ten years, hospitals, colleges and universities were not established in the KPK. The previous government brought about a change where there were no funds left to pay salaries and pensions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Maryam Nawaz claimed that the Health Card was initiated in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa first by Nawaz Sharif, saying that he fought against the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with the slogans of zeal and loyalty. Maryam Nawaz remarked that Nawaz Sharif started the Health Card initiative from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on January 1, 2016.
“Those who embezzled 190 million pounds have plundered the resources of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistan. The PML-N chief organizer asserted that the PTI kept the KPK in deprivation during the ten years.“The PML-N will eliminate the ten years of deprivation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by establishing the latest hospitals and better educational institutions,” she added.
