‘Maryam Ki Dastak’ has received more than 2.1 million service requests since June 2024.
Developed by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), the digital platform has already processed over 1.7 million service requests, while the remaining 336,000 will be completed soon.
This was shared during a progress review meeting presided over by PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf at Arfa Software Technology Park (ASTP).
The participants of the meeting were informed that thousands of youth have been registered as Dastak Facilitators, playing a vital role in delivering services directly to citizens’ homes.
Under the ‘Maryam Ki Dastak’ initiative, more than 76 government services are currently available across Punjab. These include Domicile Certificates, Birth Certificates, Copies of FIRs, Property Records, and several other essential documents.
Citizens can now avoid repeated office visits and instead simply call 1202 or use the Dastak Doorstep Delivery App to access these services from the comfort of their homes.
Speaking on the occasion, PITB Chairman stated the program is not only simplifying access to public services but also significantly enhancing citizen convenience, saving time and resources, and improving overall governance.
“We are continuously working to expand the range of services and further strengthen this platform to ensure faster, reliable, and citizen-centric service delivery for every resident of Punjab,” he added.
