Maryam Nawaz, Chief Organizer and Senior Vice President of PML-N has asked the female party leaders to kick-start door to door election campaigns ahead of general elections.
She expressed these views in a party meeting held at the Model Town Secretariat under the chairmanship of the Chief Organizer PML (N).
The political situation of Lahore was discussed in the meeting, Saif Khokhar, President of PML-N Lahore, Sadia Taimur, President of PML-N Lahore Women’s Wing also participated in the meeting, Maryam Nawaz was briefed on the political situation of Lahore.
According to the sources, Maryam Nawaz instructed the women wing to start a door-to-door election campaign in the meeting of PML-N. The expected ticket holders of Lahore and other candidates were also discussed in the meeting. Women’s performance in politics was considered, on this occasion, Maryam Nawaz instructed to prepare a priority list of reserved seats for women in the general elections.
