Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb has demanded from the government to publish advertisement for missing Prime Minister Imran Khan who has disappeared after making promises to the masses.
According to the media, Marriyum Aurangzeb while criticizing PM Imran Khan and his government on public issues, said that the prime minister who promised to provide 10 million jobs, 5 million houses has disappeared. Heirs of PIA plane crash victims are demanding to know whereabouts of their prime minister, she added.
PML-N leader said that crops are being destroyed by locusts and death rate of coronavirus is rising but government has no strategy to deal with the situation. She further added that from last five years, foreign funding case is being heard but the prime minister who promised self-accountability is nowhere to be found.
While, Information Minister Fayyazul Hassan Chohan, in his reaction to statements of PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb against Prime Minister Imran Khan, has said that she is only hewing against the high, with baseless and hollow criticism.
Chohan said that Marriyum Aurangzeb needed peek in her own collar to find that PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif is sitting in London with a certified badge of abscondence, while Shehbaz Sharif, Leader of Opposition in National Assembly, is hiding in his own drawing room. Sharif Brothers did not celebrate any Eid in Pakistan during their stints in power except in 2017 when they were arrested and were in prison, Chohan added.
Chohan said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has preferred his own country instead of going abroad to spend his official holidays, unlike previous heads of state, and is managing matters of the state with due diligence.
