Mardan

Police on Thursday arrested a citizen in Mardan for using a mosque loudspeaker to make an appeal to the area women and children asking them to supplicate to God to rid them of the bane of the present government and Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Using loudspeaker of a local mosque, an inflation-hit citizen appealed to women and children of the area to pray to Allah beseeching Him to remove the government and Prime Minister Imran Khan.

However, the administration didn’t like the poor chap’s ill-wishing appeal and the police registered a case against him for violating the Loudspeaker Act.—INP
