Police while unlocking mystery regarding a double murder in Ferozwala near Lahore on Friday and arrested a man who confessed to killing his sister and her paramour in the name of “honour”,
During police interrogation, the man admitted that he killed his sister and her paramour. Ferozwala police registered an FIR regarding the “kidnapping” of the woman on the complaint of her husband Shaukat, resident of WandalaDiyal Shah village a few day back.
While DPO Sheikhupura after taking notice of the double murder constituted a team to probe the case.
The police arrested the brother of the woman on suspicion. During interrogation, the accused confessed to committing the murders with the assistance of a friend Farooq.
The accused also claimed that after their murder he buried the dead bodies in the fields. Police recovered the bodies and booked them.
