A woman looking for a job was raped at gunpoint by a man who lured her into the deserted Trail 3 of the Margalla Hills in Islamabad on Friday. Kohsar police registered a case against the accused on the complaint of the victim woman under sections of rape.
According to the FIR, the victim woman was a resident of Sheikhupura. She held a contact with a man named Nouman who promised to get her a job. The accused also took Rs80,000 from the woman in exchange for arranging work for her. When the victim woman came from Sheikhupura to meet the accused in Rawalpindi for the job.—INP
