A teenage boy was walking on railway track with his hands-free device plugged into his ears was knocked to death by a passenger train in Awan Sharif area in the limits of Attock Police station on Thursday, police and rescue 1122 sources said.
Police while quoting eye witnesses have said that 18 years old Faisal Afridi was walking on railway track with his hands-free device plugged into his ears when a Multan bound passenger train coming from Rawalpindi knocked him though the train honked the horn several time, he did not notice it.
Later his body was handed over for burial after fulfilling legal requirements. Separately a business man was shot dead in target killing case in the Kamra in the limits of Hazro Police station of Attock. Police sources said that Shiekh Muhammad Niaz who was also an activist of Dawat Islami was going towards his house when unknown assailants showered bullets over him resultantly he died on the spot.
Moreover, body of a man in mutilated condition was found from his room under mysterious circumstances in Qualyar village in the limits of Fatehjang Police station. Police sources said that the body of Kosar Niazi was retrieved from his room in mutilated condition and after autopsy it would be revealed that he commits suicide or someone killed him. Respective police registered separate cases and launched further investigation.
