A man was caught trying to kidnap a two-year-old on Thursday.
The police said that the incident was reported in Chichawatni.
Residents told the police that the man was trying to carry the child in a white plastic bag.
People heard crying coming from the bag, cornered the man and started beating him.
The Saddr Police were called to the site and the man was handed over to them. The police are investigating the case.
