A man was allegedly beaten to death to death in Karachi over his failure to repay a loan on Thursday. A video that went viral on social media showed man being beaten in the Rent-A-Car office in Karachi’s Nagin Chowrangi. The men in the video can be seen beating him with belts and sticks.
However, the men fled the scene when the police approached, leaving the injured man inside the office. The man succumbed to his wounds soon after.SSP Central Maroof Usman said that the man has been idnetified as Adeel. A case has been registered by the deceased’s sister against eight poeple, four of whom have been arrested.
Police said that Adeel had a conflict over repayment of a loan from an ‘influential’ personality. Police has collected evidence from the site of the murder and is looking for the remaining four men nominated in the FIR.
