MUZAFFARGARH: In a heartbreaking event, a man was allegedly burnt alive due to a land dispute in the Seetpur area of Tehsil Alipur on Monday (today).
The police said that victim Ihsanullah was allegedly set on fire by individuals involved in the dispute. Unfortunately, Ihsanullah succumbed to his injuries, said the police.
Following the incident, a murder case was registered with Seetpur police station against four individuals on a complaint of Ihsanullah’s family. The family mentioned in the complaint that the dispute over land was the cause of the tragic incident.
The police said the investigation was underway, and the raids are being conducted at various locations.
