Major General (R) Qazi Abid Hussain (HI & SI) who passed away the other day was laid to rest in Rawalpindi on Monday. Funeral prayer of the deceased who was father-in-law of Khawar Saeed President/CEO Bank of AJK was offered at Race Course Ground Rawalpindi. A large number of people belonging to different walks of life including military, civil bureaucracy, social and political attended the funeral prayers.
Maj. Gen. (Retd) Qazi Abid Hussain led a dignified life and executed many battles and operations for the defence of the country.
Military, political and social personalities expressing their grief over his death prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in peace and to award courage for the bereaved family, relatives and friends to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude.—INP
