Pakistan Meterological Department of Pakistan (PMD) Saturday forecast mainly hot dry weather during next 24 hours in twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Talking to APP, an official PMD Imran Ahmed said,’ Continental air would prevail over most parts of the country. However, a shallow westerly wave would affect extreme northern parts of the country. Mainly hot and dry weather expected in most parts of the country however, rain-thunderstorm may occur at a few places in Malakand, Hazara divisions, upper FATA and Gilgit-Baltistan he added Highest maximum temperatures recorded in Mithi, Chhor 42°C, Lasbella 41°C, Sibbi, Turbat 40°C. The Peshawar Provincial Met Office Saturday forecast dry weather for most parts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA.
However rain-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in Mansehra, Abbottabad, Kohistan, Battagram, Chitral, Swat, Shangla, Upper Dir and FATA ( Bajaur and Kurram Agencies) for next 24 hours.
Similarly, the Met Officer also predicted dry weather for most parts of the region.
However rain-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in Mansehra, Abbottabad, Kohistan, Battagram, Chitral for next 48 hours.—APP
