Mainly dry weather expected in most parts

Islamabad—Mainly dry weather to grip most parts of the country while temperature is expected to remain high in plain areas during next 24 hours. Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country, an official of Met office told APP. In last 24 hours weather remained dry in most parts of the country. Meanwhile, the Punjab Met office reported that hot and dry weather is likely to persist in most parts of the country, including the city, during the next 24 hours. According to Met office, weather remained hot and dry in the provincial capital with maximum temperature 34 degree Celsius on Saturday.
While, the Quetta Met Office has forecast a dry and cold weather for the provincial capital during next 24 hours. On Saturday, the highest maximum temperature 24 centigrade and the lowest minimum 11 centigrade were recorded in the metropolis. The dry weather has been forecast for rest of the region.
Maximum temperatures recorded on Saturday remained Sibbi 41øC, Turbat 40øC, Lasbela 39øC, Hyderabad 36øC, Faisalabad, Multan, Lahore 35øC, Karachi, Islamabad, Peshawar 34øC, Muzaffarabad 31øC, Dir 30øC, Gilgit, Chitral 28øC, Quetta 27øC, Hunza 24øC, and Murree, Skardu, Kalat 23øC.—APP
