Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. Temperature of some major cities recorded. Islamabad five degree centigrade, Lahore fourteen, Karachi fifteen, Peshawar seven, Quetta six, Gilgit two, Murree zero and Muzaffarabad three degree centigrade.

According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, cold and dry weather is expected in Srinagar, Jammu, Anantnag and Shopian while partly cloudy and cold in Leh, Pulwama and Baramulla. Temperatures recorded this morning. Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag and Baramulla minus one degree centigrade, Jammu eight, Leh minus twelve and Shopian minus two degree centigrade.

Regional Meteorological Department on Saturday forecast cold and partly cloudy weather for most districts of the province while very cold in hilly areas for next 24 hours. Isolated rain with light snowfall over the hills is likely to occur over Chitral, Dir, Malakand, Buner, Kalam, Swat, Shangla, Kohistan, Battagram, Torghar, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber and Swabi districts. The local Met Office has forecast dry and cold weather for the city for the next 24 hours. The highest maximum temperature of 30 centigrade.—INP
