Judicial magistrate on Saturday rejected the police’s request for further physical custody of six suspects allegedly involved in mutilating a camel’s leg near Mund Jamrao in Sanghar district, instead sending them to jail on judicial remand. The suspects were presented before Judicial Magistrate Habibullah Siyal after completing an initial four-day police remand. Despite the police’s appeal for an extension, the magistrate refused the request. According to SSP Sanghar, two of the suspects, Abdul Shakoor and Abid Shar, have confessed to their involvement in the crime during the investigation.
