LWMC machinery should be available in field

Chief Executive Officer Lahore Waste Management Company Rafia Haider paid visit to Outfall Workshop North, South and Children Hospital workshops early Monday morning.

During the visit, the CEO reprimanded fleet manager Outfall North workshop for not sending vehicles in the field on time and poor supervision.

She also sought a clarification from the Valencia Workshop fleet manager for sending vehicle late. Rafia Haider also issues orders to clear LWMC temporary collection points on priority basis.

She stated that the vehicles from each workshop should be in the field at 5 O’clock in any case to improve the cleaning operation. She added that in order to run the cleanliness operation smoothly, vehicles brought for repair and maintenance should be cleared from workshops well in time. All fleet managers should ensure timely departure of vehicles responsibly.

She further directed the team to ensure 100% attendance of all employees of the workshops, alternative drivers and replacement vehicles should be reserved.

While talking about the drivers she briefed that recruitment of new drivers for the new fleet will be completed soon.
