A man killed his daughter and her groom over love marriage here. According to police the incident occurred in village Kot Alam Din, district Nankana Sahib. The ill-fated girl tied the knot with a youth of the village against permission of her parents.
On Eidul Fitr, she tried to get her father’s blessings but the father annoyed with them for running away from the house and dishonouring him before the relatives and the whole village murdered them.
After taking both the dead bodies of wife and husband into custody, the Mandi Faizabad police have started investigations without any arrest until filing this report.
