After years of solitary confinement at Karachi Zoo, Madhubala, the 16-year-old elephant, is set to be relocated to Safari Park next month, announced zoo authorities on Thursday. Accompanied by fellow elephants Sonia and Malika, Madhubala will enjoy a new sanctuary, with training for her transport already completed.
The move comes after years of dental pain and infection, with global animal welfare group Four Paws collaborating on her care and relocation efforts. This marks a significant step towards enhancing the well-being of the majestic animal.
