Lockdown bears fruit No Corona death reported during 24 hours in City

The positive effects of the lockdown began to show as no casualty was reported from Corona in Lahore during the last 24 hours. As many as 235 new cases of corona have been reported in the city.

According to the spokesman of the health department, 17 more deaths were reported from Corona in Punjab, bringing the total number of deaths to 9,999.

Another 589 cases of the deadly virus were reported across the province. The number of corona cases reached 339,662. The number of coronary heart disease patients also began to decline.

According to the report of the health department, 60.70% of the ventilators in the city are empty while 39.30% of the patients are undergoing treatment. 81.10% of oxygen beds are available to patients while 18.90% of oxygen beds are occupied.

According to the health department, 469 patients are being treated in public and private hospitals in the city. Corona has 116 critical patients on ventilators and 263 on oxygen beds.

Mayo Hospital has the highest number of 132 patients undergoing treatment, with 45 patients on ventilators. Services Hospital has 52 patients and Jinnah Hospital has 66 patients of Corona.

The reduction in Corona patients has improved hospital facilities. Access to ventilators and oxygen beds has become easier for anxious patients.
