Deputy Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan and former parliamentary leader in the National Assembly Liaqat Baloch while condemning the arrest of Jamaat-e-Islami leader and enthusiastic spokesperson of Balochistan people Saeed Baloch and police raid at his home has said that the people of Gwadar are being deprived from the progress of Gwadar.
He said that the people deprived of electricity were protesting under the leadership of Saeed Baloch from many days, adding that instead of resolving the problems the public sentiments are being crushed through torture, bullet and stick.
In a statement issued on Monday, Liaqat Baloch demanded that leader of Gwadar, Saeed Baloch should immediately be released and action should be taken the responsible who raided his house.
He said that electricity and water should be provided and fruits of the progress should be ensured to the city, adding that all citizen rights should be ensured.
Liaqat Baloch said that the youth of Gwadar should be given jobs and should be equipped with technical education.
