LHC to hear Maryam’s passport plea tomorrow


Pakistan Muslim League-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz’s application for obtaining a passport has been set for hearing on September 14 (Wednesday).

A three-member new full bench headed by Chief Justice Lahore High Court has been constituted to hear Maryam Nawaz’s application.

The bench consisted of Justice Ali Baqar Najafi and Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh, while the full bench will hear the petition of Maryam Nawaz on Wednesday.

After the approval of the Chief Justice of the LHC, a new three-member full bench was formed on the separate application of Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

Earlier, the two-member bench was dissolved on September 8, 2022, as LHC Justice Anwar-ul-Haq recused himself from the bench to hear the case.
