Lahore High Court Chief Justice Muhammad Ameer Bhatti on Saturday approved the appointments of Judicial Officers in District Judiciary. Among those who were appointed, 10 candidates suc-ceeded against the vacant posts of Additional Sessions Judges and 26 for Civil Judges.
The chief justice approved the appointments of judges in the District Judiciary on the recommendation of the Ex-amination Committee. The Committee has recommended 10 candidates, who passed the examination and interview, for the vacant posts of Additional District and Sessions, while 26 candidates had passed the examination and interview for Civil Judges. According to the details, 10 candidates including Rubya Bashir, Zeeshan-ur-Rasoul, Muhammad Shabbir, Waqar Sultani, Muhammad Asim Shahzad, Mansoor Waqar, Rabia Jameel, Mushtaq Ahmed, Zafar Iqbal and Mu-hammad Bashir have been succeeded as Additional Ses-sion Judges. While 26 candidates including Yamna Ka-mran, Zikra Gul Niazi, Saba Balouch, Sehrish Sardar, Sahar Sajjad, Ayesha Tayyaba, Hamza Javaid, Nazia Ba-no and others were appointed to the vacant posts of Civil Judges cum Judicial Magistrate.
