A notification issued by the administration states that the high court and lowers courts, including civil and sessions courts, will remain closed from June 17 to 19.
The announcement was made after Chief Justice Malik Shahzad Ahmad Khan approved the schedule for Eid break.
The decision is aligned with the federal government’s schedule under which Eidul Adha holidays will be observed from June 17 to 19.
Technically, the holidays will start from June 15 (tomorrow), as most government offices and educational institutions are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. So, the various government employees and university students will enjoy five holidays on account of Eid.
