National Conference Vice President, Omar Abdullah, has said that the level of disappointment among the residents of occupied Jammu and Kashmir with the New Delhi-installed territory’s administration has reached unprecedented heights.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Omar Abdullah addressing a party workers’ convention at Handwara in Kupwara district, said the situation in IIOJK is now marked by widespread unhappiness and discontent across all regions, adding youth are expressing anger, chaos prevails everywhere, and inflation is soaring. He said, “People have been left to fend for themselves with skyrocketing prices of edibles, gas, and other essential items.”.

Referring to the hearing of Article 370 in the Indian Supreme Court, he said top lawyers were representing the case and they made every possible attempt to support their argument. “Now everything is up to the top court. We are very hopeful that it will give a verdict in favor of the people of J&K,” he said.—KMS
