LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) continued operations against violation of building bylaws and illegal commercial use in Lahore.
On Wednesday, the LDA teams removed illegal boards and sealed more than 40 properties on Pine Avenue, Defense Road and Eden Villas for not paying commercialization fees. The sealed premises include cafe, private clinic, private school, beauty parlors, workshops and offices.
LDA Chief Town Planner-II Azhar Ali supervised the operation which was carried out with the help of enforcement teams and Police. As per the LDA officials, several notices were served to these buildings’ owners before carrying out the operation.
LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against violation of building and parking bylaws, encroachments and illegal commercial use in Lahore.
