LAHORE – The Lahore development Authority (LDA) continued operation against violation of building bylaws and illegal commercial use in different parts of Lahore.
On Monday, LDA teams demolished more than one dozen illegal buildings in Johar Town, BOR Society, WAPDA Town, Lahore Avenue and OPF Society.
Chief Town Planner-II Athar Ali supervised the operation carried out with the help of enforecement teams, Police and heavy machinery.
As per LDA officials, several notices were served to owners of these buildings before carrying out the operation.
LDA Director General Muhammad Ali Randhawa has directed continuing indiscriminate operation against violation of bylaws and illegal commercial activities.
