LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) continued operation against violation of building bylaws in Lahore.
On Friday, the LDA teams demolished two buildings during operations against violation of bylaws in Architect Society and Nazria Pakistan Road. LDA teams sealed more than 11 properties during operations in Johar Town and Pine Avenue. LDA teams also removed temporary/permanent encroachments from Pine Avenue.
Chief Town Planner-II Azhar Ali supervised the operations which were carried out by the enforcement teams with the help of heavy machinery and Police. As per the LDA officials, several notices were served to these buildings’ owners before carrying out the operations.
LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against violation of building bylaws and illegal commercial use in Lahore.
