LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Wednesday continued operation against violation of bylaws and illegal commercial use in Lahore.
LDA teams partially/fully demolished over half a dozen illegal buildings during an operation in Johar Town, Audit and Accounts, Raiwind Road, Nespak Society and adjoining schemes.
LDA team also sealed five premises in Johar Town and Nespak Society for illegal commercial use.
As per the LDA officials, several notices were served to these buildings’ owners before demolition operation.
Chief Town Planner-II Azhar Ali supervised the operation which was carried out with the help of enforcement teams, Police and heavy machinery. LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against violation of bylaws, encroachments and illegal commercial use in Lahore.
