LDA continues cattle eviction, anti encroachment drive in Lahore

LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) and Municipal Corporation Lahore (MCL) continued cattle eviction and anti-encroachment operation in the provincial metropolis.
On Thursday, joint teams of LDA and MCL removed encroachments from main roads and residential areas of LDA Avenue-I and Jubilee Town in Lahore. The teams demolished several illegal cattle sheds in these localities. More than two dozen cattle were handed over to the MCL.
LDA Avenue-I Director Asad Ullah Cheema supervised the operation carried out by joint teams with the help of Police and heavy machinery.
LDA Director General Muhammad Ali Randhawa has directed continuing indiscriminate operation against encroachments, violation of building bylaws and illegal cattle sheds in residential areas in Lahore.
