Sher Gondal Mandi Bahauddin
Lawyers of Mandi Bahauddin called off continued strike on request of Advocate General Punjab. On his arrival, he met the negotiation team of DBA and discussed with them the facts and circumstances that led to thrashing the Consumer Court Judge.
The team told him that police has been harassing the lawyers since the time of the incident. Cordon of the judicial complex has been continuing since 28 Nov and the lawyers being afraid of the arrest remain absent.
The Advocate General promised to settle the issue in an amicable and respectful way within the shortest possible time. It was decided that the conflict would be resolved by 3 Jan 2022 failing which the lawyers’ strike will be restored.
