A senior officer of the accountant General Office Peshawar has cautioned the public as well as the law enforcement agencies of exploiting names of the officers by a group of miscreants for their vested interests.
Talking to Pakistan Observer, Mohammad Riaz serving as grade 18 Officer in AG office lamented that few criminals have been black mailing people and lodging complaints against them with various government departments using his name, his mobile number and the ID card number.
Distancing himself from the smear campaign, Mohammad Riaz clarified he has nothing to do with all that. He said those activities were not only bringing bad name to him but also to the prestigious AG office.
He appealed to the law enforcers to immediately swing into action against these fraudsters and bring them to books so that in future nobody could resort to suchlike nefarious activities.
