LAHORE – Students and tutors across Punjab are waiting for winter vacations, which are set to start before mid December to rest, spend quality time with family, and plan winter tours.
For the upcoming season, Secretary School Education Department Khalid Nazir Wattoo called for balance between leisure and studying during upcoming break.
He directed parents to ensure that children use break with proper rest and study. Wattoo also advised limiting screen time and encouraging constructive activities such as reading or developing new skills.
Schools Winter Vacations Schedule
The provincial government earlier announced winter vacation schedule for schools in the region, confirming that break will start from December 20, 2024, and last until January 10, 2025.
The three-week holiday period sufficient break for learners and students ahead of final exams.
