Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar has strongly condemned the attack on former Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Mir Ghalib Domki, vowing swift action and a thorough investigation into the incident. Speaking to the media at the Sindh Assembly premises, Minister Lanjar reassured the public that the police were already taking steps to apprehend those responsible for the attack, adding that one of the bandits involved had been killed in the exchange.

“The miscreants are present everywhere, but the police will achieve success soon,” said Lanjar, emphasizing that this was not a tribal conflict, contrary to what some might insinuate. “This should not be portrayed as a tribal issue,” he clarified, underlining that the attack was not related to any inter-tribal disputes.

Minister Lanjar also informed that Mir Abid Jatoi had visited Mir Ghalib Domki following the incident to offer support. He reiterated the government’s unwavering commitment to maintaining law and order in the region, stressing that there would be no compromise on the issue.

Addressing the ongoing security operations, Lanjar revealed that a joint operation by the police and Rangers was in progress in the Katcha area, targeting the bandits’ hideouts. “The hideouts of the bandits have been destroyed,” he confirmed, adding that there were no obstacles to the operation, which would soon result in success.
