A cruel landlord on Friday unleashed a dog on a child labourer in Hafizabad for not following his son’s orders.
The incident ordered in village Bari Tarar of Hafizabad where a landlord was furious with the child labourer for disobedience.
He let loose the dog on the nine-year-old boy, Ahmad, who received serious dog bite injuries.
On getting information, the police rushed to the spot and shifted the boy to a trauma centre. The police also arrested landlord Bilal Hassan and registered a case against him.
The DPO Hafizabad said they are interrogating the accused and will try to get him punished in accordance with the law.
Meanwhile, a man was found dead in his house in Chak 201/EB of Burewala, police said on Friday.
According to details, Muhammad Ashraf s/o Ibrahim left his wife and children at house of in-laws at Chak 193/EB the other day.
The family has been calling Ashraf on mobile phone but he was not receiving the call after which his brother in-law visited his residence in Chak 201/EB and found him dead lying in his bed.
The body was shifted to hospital for postmortem and Gaggo Mandi police after registering a case into the incident have started an investigation.
