The residents of Landikotal have complained that some food commodities were not available at the utility store, recently opened at Landikotal bazar. Talking this scribe, Haji Ayub Shah Shinwari said that utility store at Landikotal bazar were lacking food stuff like flour, ghee, rice and standard grains. He said that those available grains like bees and rice etc were of substandard and poor quality and those grains were taking more time to be cooked. He said that people of the area were poor mostly and can.t afford to buy food stuff from other shopkeepers w ho were selling these foot materials with high prices. He demanded the high authorities to provide standardized food stuff like flour,ghee and other gains to Landikotal utility store that the local people of the area could buy food commodities on subsidized and reasonable prices. Some locals have also complained that the assistant commissioner of Landikotal was not taking legal action against those shopkeepers who were allegedly involved in stocking flour bags and were selling flour bags with high prices.
