LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Thursday retrieved land worth millions of rupees during operations in different housing schemes of Lahore.
The LDA teams demolished illegal huts and removed encroachments during operation in the surroundings of Civic Center and F, D, and E Blocks of Subzazar.
LDA teams also evicted cattle during the operation. LDA Director Housing IV Yawar Bashir Virk supervised the operation carried out by the enforcement teams with the help of Police and heavy machinery.
LDA teams removed illegal huts and encroachments during operations in R and N Blocks of Johar Town. Director Housing VII Moazzam Rasheed supervised the operation carried out by enforcement teams in Johar Town with the help of heavy machinery and Police.
LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against land grabbers, violation of building bylaws, and encroachments in Lahore. He directed taking all possible steps for saving public land from illegal occupation and encroachments.
