Land dispute resolved peacefully

Twelve-year long standing land dispute between Ada Khel and Khandey Khel tribes was resolved successfully by the District Administration South Waziristan. As per the Direction of Deputy Commissioner South Waziristan Mr. Amjad Miraj, The Addl. Assistant Commissioner Wana Dr. Sadiq Ali along with Maj. Mohsin (24 Brigade), Naib-Tehsildar Birmal, Ahmed Zai Mediators and Ulema, held Final separate Jirgas with Adda Khel and Khandey Khel elders/Tribe who were armed with “Lashkar” over the land between the two tribes.

There was misinterpretation in the decision being done by the Mediators which was finally clarified infront of both the Tribes Adda Khel & Khandey Khel. There was misperception on the Measurement of the land as well which was clarified by the Jirga Mediators.

The Proper planning and schedule for Final Demarcation & Measurement was decided to be started on Monday.It is pertinent to mention that One Beju & Fielder each were submitted in-front of the Jirga by both the Tribes as Zamanat (Security) Till final measurement and demarcation Committee (which may Include Naib tehsildar Birmal, Area Moharir Angoor Adda and a Patwari.
